More About the Transition
For 2 years now, we have been working behind the scenes to create a more simplified ordering process, a more modern look and a cooler name. We have already rolled out this new look, feel and process to many parts of the country, and will be rolling it out in your city soon. We are confident you will appreciate the improvements we've made, and we are excited for you to experience it.
Our new website, Cynch.com, has a more modern design and an improved seamless ordering process. Once we upgrade your zip code from Propane Taxi to Cynch, you’ll be redirected to cynch.com, and can login using the same credentials you currently use.
We have not updated the IOS and Android apps to Cynch yet. Once your zip code is upgraded to the new website, you will not be able to place an order from the Propane Taxi apps anymore. We are confident you will like the Cynch ordering process more!

Not at all! There is no subscription or commitment to use us. But we hope you'll love the convenience so much that you will order again! In fact, once you’ve set up an account, your next order “is a Cynch”!
Yes, but it must be a standard grill-sized tank. If you don’t have an empty tank to exchange, you’ll need to order a spare tank from us.
Nope, it’s easy...just give us instructions on where to leave your spare tank or access the tank you will be exchanging to help the delivery technician make the exchange or delivery efficiently. We are unable to provide delivery time windows, so it is important that you leave the tank in a secure location our driver can access, such as your driveway, in front of your garage or on your front porch. We will ask you to choose where you will be leaving your tank in the check-out process (just like package deliveries).
To make it as convenient as possible, we offer multiple delivery day options for you. In most zip codes you’ll have 2 to 3 standard, or free delivery days per week. We are also rolling out same day and express delivery options in select markets as a pilot. We hope to expand that everywhere very soon.

For a limited time, exchange your existing grill tank for an AmeriGas Propane, L.P. DBA Cynch (“Cynch”) 20 lb grill tank containing 15 lbs. of propane for $10 plus tax, if applicable.
- Offer valid through December 31, 2021.
- Must be a first-time Cynch customer, 18 years of age or older, and resident in an eligible zip code within a Cynch delivery area.
- Visit www.cynch.com and enter the promotional code while placing an order for a Cynch grill tank exchange to occur at your residence. All orders for Cynch grill tanks are subject to acceptance of Cynch’s Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated by reference.
- Grill tank exchange occurs at street level of residence. Cynch reserves the right to delay, suspend, or cancel delivery if due to circumstances at the point of exchange a Cynch employee or independent contractor determines in his or her sole discretion that completing the exchange would pose a risk of injury or would otherwise be unadvisable.
- Customer must have existing grill tank to exchange. Camper tanks are ineligible for exchange.
- LIMIT: One (1) grill tank exchange per person or household.
- Promotional codes are non-transferrable and have no cash value. Any use of the promotional codes inconsistent with this offer is prohibited.
- Connection of grill tank is customer’s responsibility.
- Promotional codes are void if they are not obtained in accordance with these Offer Terms and Conditions or if the Promotional Code is counterfeit, altered, defective, tampered with, or irregular in any way.
